It's always amazing to see the link between our generation and previous generations. In 1938-1939 pupils collected stories from their parents and grandparents around the country. Belcarra NS was then divided into a boys' and girls' school - we have below the stories (now available on Dúchas.ie) that were collected in Belcarra NS. They make fascinating reading!
