Belcarra N.S. is very happy to launch its Bí Cínealta Policy.

Belcarra NS collected their Green Flag for the theme Global Citizenship Litter and Waste at an Awards Ceremony in the McWilliam Park Hotel. This is the 6th Green Flag for the school.

Well done to our 4th, 5th and 6th class students who played so well in the first stage of the competition. Good luck to the girls team who are through to the next stage of the competition,

Congratulations to our 6TH class student who came in first place in the Connacht Under 15 School Golf Championship, Amazing Achieve ment.

We were very proud of our students today when they marched in the parade, played their tin whistles, the drums, the cymbals and waved their flags.

Our students dressed up as their favourite characters from their favourite books. It was very difficult to select a winner from each classroom as they all put in such a brilliant effort. Many thanks to Book Stand for donating the book vouchers for our winners.

Many thanks to Ciarán Maguire from Louth Under 17s hurling team who introduced the students to the skill of hurling.

Congratulations to all our students who participated in the Cumann na mBunscol Handball Competition. Well done to the two girls in 5th class who finished as runners up in this competition and bravo to our 5th class boy who was the under 13 Boys Champion. He went out to receive a bronze medal in the Connacht Championship!

Well done to our Girl and Boys Team who performed so well in the Competition. You all showed great skill and determination.

Well done to the Senior Credit Union team who achieved great scores in the competition. We are very proud of ye.

The new committee are very excited to get working on our theme of Global Citizenship Litter and Waste

Global Citizenship and Litter and Waste. Presentations by our EAL students followed by Irish Traditional Music and Dance. We finished up with a clean up of the village.

All the classes participated in an excellent drumming workshop facilitated by Anthony McNamee. Great fun was had by all!
